Yesterday I got the vaccine. My wife and I heard that they often have leftover doses at the end of the day, due to no-shows. So we went to the vaccine clinic around closing time and loitered. After a half hour, around 30 people showed up, nearly all from our local social circle. Amazingly they had exactly the number of surplus doses as people in the parking lot. I will get my second dose on my birthday, almost precisely one year after the shutdowns started.
